Workshop: Knitting with Colour – Change of date

This workshop will show you the two different techniques of knitting with colour, which are ‘fairisle’ and ‘intarsia’.

It will give the participant a chance to try a few variations of pattern to practice, as they work the techniques of colour knitting.

Both written patterns and charted patterns are included in the workshop, which will give the participant the experience of following both ways a colour pattern can be written.

The workshop gives people a chance to learn tips and techniques when working with different colours to ensure they get the desired finish.

What I need to bring:  A pair of 4 mm knitting needles, a ball of Dk yarn and half a ball of yarn in a contrasting or complementary colour.

Level:  * Basic level of knitting – must know how to knit and purl
