Workshop: Professional finishing techniques 2

A workshop for those looking for further ways to enhance their knitted item and create a professional finish.

The workshop will focus on certain features, for example working a pocket, with flap, into a knitted panel as well as creating a “facing” for a neat edge without a rib.

Other techniques learnt on the day include an additional buttonhole, a Tubular cast on edge and grafting two pieces of knitting together – often referred to as Kitchener stitch.

To have the ability to work these techniques will give you the edge to make your knitted piece look professional and suit your needs.
