About Me

My obsession with all things knitted grew from a fashion background, which encouraged me to follow through to a Masters degree in Fashion and Knitwear. I have been lucky enough to have gained a career in the industry I have a passion for.

During my studies I was able to explore the diverse range of genres present in the woollen industry, as well as to participate in an open spectrum of projects; from Simply Knitting’s knitted garden project to designing tea cosies, which feature in published books.

In recent years I have added to my design portfolio with designs published on the Rowan website and in The Knitted Generation, published by Quail publishing. As well as internationally by Be Sweet.  Most recently, I have had a design published in the Pom Pom Summer 2016 publication.  For more information on all the design work I have done please also see my designer page on Ravelry.

I also teach a wide range of both knit and crochet workshops across the country as part of the Rowan Tutor team.

I have recently decided to focus on both my design work and the teaching of workshops and have therefore, regrettably had to stop work as a design consultant for Rowan in Nottingham three days a week.

With more than 10 years experience in knitwear design and consultancy, locally and internationally, I am available for all kinds of individual or group based assignments.

I am based in Nottingham, UK, but able to travel for work.

Please contact me if you would like to find out more.
